Aerial Yoga combines Yoga postures modified with the use of suspended fabric hammocks. With the help of gravity and the hammocks, students can playfully explore floating, fluid movements and create space in the body without compressing the joints and spine. The hammock, like other props used with Yoga, are intended to assist in alignment and bring new life and understanding to traditional and modern yoga poses. Aerial Yoga complements a traditional Yoga practice as it supports the body like no other Yoga prop or apparatus. This versatile silk hammock allows modifications of certain poses and the ability to delve deeper into others, truly making the practice accessible to a wide variety of practitioners. Aerial Yoga unwinds fascial knots, quiets the mind, builds core and upper body strength; with a focus on safe, zero-gravity inversions, this practice leaves the body feeling integrated and renewed.

 

Vinyasa Flow

 

Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic style of Yoga, students flow through sequences of asana/poses while simultaneously linking the breath to each movement. A focus on conscious breathing, mindful movement and time to release in Savasana (final resting pose) are always integrated into this class.

 

Ballet Barre

 

Ballet Barre is a high-energy, low impact, all over body conditioning class that fuses the best elements of ballet, Pilates, aerobic conditioning and stretching for a truly unique and fun experience. This workout will sculpt and transform your entire body, resulting in a toned, trim physique. 

The class will always end with an abdominal routine and stretch to keep you feeling strong, healthy and satisfied.

The Mom Method was designed by Ariel Grace to provide a safe and supportive place for pregnant women to come together - sharing in a special practice designed to promote optimal health and wellness for both mama and growing baby.  The Mom Method classes are designed to support a more comfortable and healthy pregnancy, while exploring this hugely transformative time. Prepare for labour & birth with individual attention paid to  connecting with the Pelvic floor, reducing back pain, improving strength & flexibility. Classes include Yoga, Pilates & Barre inspired movements, breath work and meditative techniques to leave Mamas feeling strong & supported.

The Mom Method: BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby) was designed by Ariel Grace to provide Mamas with a way to connect with their bodies (and babies!) postpartum.  Restore your Core safely and effectively with the best movement patterns to support your body after baby. Learn the best exercises (and ones to avoid!) after pregnancy. 

With an emphasis on reconnecting with Pelvic Floor muscles, reducing incontinence, safe abdominal work and postural exercises, we work to heal the body postpartum, leaving Mamas feeling stronger & supported. Classes include inspiration from Yoga, Pilates and Barre. Meet your Mom Tribe, bring your baby & have fun!

Enjoy personalized Yoga classes in the privacy of your own home, or in studio. Private Yoga is a fantastic way to begin a Yoga practice, or delve deeper into your established practice, with personal guidance and individual attention to specific needs and goals. Private Yoga can be arranged as individual classes, couples yoga or small group classes.

When practiced consistently, Pilates  is an incredible way to stay connected to your Core. Improve flexibility and gain strength by developing endurance and stamina through your entire body. By focusing on the 6 main principles of Pilates: Concentration, Centering, Control, Breathing, Precision & Flow, you will see positive changes  improving coordination & balance in your body.
